The One Ocean Difference

  • We have a track record of supporting historical investigations. In 2014, we joined The Royal Canadian Geographical Society as a partner in the Parks Canada-led Victoria Strait Expedition, successfully discovering Franklin’s long-missing HMS Erebus.
  • In 2018 we joined forces with The RCGS again, resulting in the discovery of the Nova Zembla, a Scottish whaling ship.
  • We have close partnerships with organisations at the forefront of historical research, such as the RCGS, SPRI and the VMM, which allows more access to combined expertise.
  • We work with specialist marine and polar historians who travel onboard with us to share knowledge of the rich history of the regions we visit.
  • Enjoy a selection of literature about polar history onboard.
