Landing in Iqaluit we are set to explore some of Canada’s most remote regions along the coast of Baffin Island, as well as the parallel culture of northern beauty across the Davis Straight and landing on the western coast of Greenland. With eyes trained on Polar bear, Harp seals, flocks of kittiwakes and guillemots, we are in awe of the northern Canadian wilderness. Brightly coloured houses in small coastal villages with mountainous backdrops and massive icebergs are a photographer’s dream along the west coast of Greenland. Click here for detailed itineraries.
Northwest Passage, East to West & West to East - Kanglerlussuaq to Kugluktuk, or reverse itinerary - 14 nights/15 days
Following your adventurous spirit into the Canadian High Arctic is an epic journey now available to intrepid and meandering explorers of the modern age. Gone are the days of wooden beams and plates of iron as the only separation between adventurous souls and towering icebergs. Explore, discover and dream as we sail in comfort through the same areas of exploration that Barrow, Parry and Franklin experienced almost a century ago. Soaking up the midnight sun on the port side of the ship with a glass of red in hand may provide just the right note of luxury, past explorers didn’t have the opportunity to experience. Watching the moving water on the horizon as a herd of walrus or raft of seals approach the bow, or looking into the eyes of a polar bear meandering across the polar pack ice exhibits the advantages of modern day expedition cruising. Join us in the Canadian High Arctic to travel the Northwest Passage, it will certainly change your perspective, as it has ours. Click here for detailed itineraries.
